The difficulty in providing reports causes much dissatisfaction and cost overruns.
At WhiteSky we provide a complete and efficient reporting capability which according to our Customers is very effective.
Here are some of the reporting features we have carefully crafted and built into the core of WhiteSky Studio.
- every field can be queried, without exception,
- the query tool is powerful and intuitive to use,
- the data dictionary only contains your fields using your terminology,
- the results of queries can be searched, filtered, grouped,
- the system returns the first 25 results and pages all other results providing scalable performance,
- query results can be edited and saved,
- queries are context sensitive so can be dragged onto different objects to report against different data sets e.g. a home page can have an editable list of actions,
- the comprehensive audit trail can be queried and incorporated in reports,
- queried data can be exported to MS Word for mail merge.
- data is exported to Excel in named ranges, so you can add new columns and change the order without affecting your report,
- Excel templates can be embedded and queries run, manipulated, and re-exported to the report.
- multiple queries can be ‘grouped’ together to export data to a series of MS Excel tabs to construct complex reports,
- queries can be scheduled to run on a server with an archived copy permanently available.
